orehus.club is a Fediverse instance that uses the ActivityPub protocol. In other words, users at this host can communicate with people that use software like Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, etc. all around the world.
This server runs the snac software and there is no automatic sign-up process.

By design, end-to-end-encrypting #deltachat and #webxdc apps only need ephemeral transport. It's a big deal. Let's compare:
- #matrix home servers maintain a cryptographic forever-chain of cleartext social-graph metadata.
- #WhatsApp servers maintain cleartext metadata visible to Meta.
- #Signal keeps encrypted metadata, hosted at GAFAM
#chatmail relays do not persist any social graph state, also not in encrypted form. A key goal of our designs: chatmail operators can sleep well at night :)
#deltachat Desktop can now run on #Firefox and Safari, entirely avoiding #Electron and Chromium! It's an intended side-effect of the "porting Desktop to #Tauri" effort led by @treefit which aims to provide a non-Electron packaged version of the Desktop. #Telegram is the exact opposite: they have _all_ the data about users, message histories, contacts, group and channel memberships, phone numbers, media files, bot interactions etc .... all in the clear on their central server, ready to be grabbed.

One thing radically different in #deltachat compared to Whatsapp and Signal: pervasive, effortless multi-profile support. We understand many worry about how to find others to get in contact with. The dreaded messenger network-scaling problem!
But if you onboard as a *group* that's less of a worry. We aim to ease and further optimize group-onboarding btw. And sooner or later you'll enjoy multi profile. Creating a chat profile without being chained to a phone number. Freedom and resilience.

В #DeltaChat или #ArcaneChat (нужное отметить) можно делать **отключение шифрования системных заголовков** (и эл.адреса отправителя: ну это не так важно), сохранив зашифрованность самого текста эл.письма? То если "свой" емайл-сервис и переживёт зашифрованность текста самого письма, то вот если будут зашифрованы сист.заголовки, то тут поди точно, что такое эл.письмо будет отброшено (в /dev/null) и не попадёт даже в "Спам"...
